With the beginning of each New Year, comes the latest round of iPhone rumors. When will the next one be launching? What will it look like? What will it be called? We fully expect more concrete updates in June, coming out of Apple.
New Apple’s iPhone 6 Launch
According to a recent report by The Wall Street Journal, Apple has 2 iPhones to launch this year. The difference? They will both have substantially larger screens – imagine something between an iPhone and a mini iPad, a so called Phablet. Reportedly the screens will be 4.5 inches and 5 inches.
iPhone 6 Casing
Apparently the plastic casing (aka the iPhone 5C) is no longer on the table. The packaging of the new 2014 iPhones will return to the metal casing that we’re used to seeing on the iPhone 5S.
iPhone 6 screen : curved vs flat display
Apple has always followed their own path, and will continue to do so when it comes to screens. Despite many competitors making the move towards curved screens, Apple is anticipated to stick to the standard flat display that we have come to know and love.
The last change in screen size was back in 2012 when the iPhone 5 was released. And based on the somewhat mediocre launch of the iPhone 5C, we’re hoping to see something truly brilliant from Apple this year.
