From 26 April to 4 May, Radio DJ Lennart Creël set out to break the world record for the longest spell of DJ broadcasting in the Great Radio Marathon. The event was centered on a charitable cause, as all of the proceeds were donated to Make A Wish Vlaanderen.
Lennart spent no less than 190 hours at his turntables; more than what was needed to break the previous record. “It was very tiring, but I consider it a great success,” he says. Click here to see Lennart playing the last requests in the presence of several media.
BullGuard also did its bit to support this campaign. The company donated BullGuard Internet Security packs for all Make A Wish volunteers and made a generous financial contribution, with a total value of € 1,000.
Both Lennart and Make a Wish were very pleased with BullGuard’s contribution. “We are very excited that BullGuard decided to back this project. We are extremely grateful for their genuine concern and interest in the needs of children who are ill,” says Guido Willems, financial director of Make-A-Wish Vlaanderen.

“When we found out about this campaign at BullGuard, we all agreed that this was something we had to be a part of. It’s very important to ensure the online safety of children. By contributing to this campaign, we hope to secure a healthy and safe future for many more children,” Belger told us enthusiastically.
