While committing to paying for an app may seem like an over investment at times, you’re actually paying for a more secure and reliable piece of software, over your unpaid apps.
Paid apps are of a higher quality, have more features, can mean no advertisements, and usually mean no in-app purchases. Typically they are inexpensive, and can make really great gifts! The apps we’re about to share with you, are loved by the Android community.
An App for the Organizer
On your Android, the LED notification is blue for almost any and all notifications. This app is called Light Flow and enables you to change the color of your LED based on the notification. Imagine just being able to glance at the blinking LED and know whether it was your alarm, a work email, a Facebook update or a text. At only £1.49 (€1.89) it’s a massive convenience for not a lot of money.
An App for the Game Boy Lover
At £3.99 (€5) it’s not the cheapest, but it does a darn good job of emulating the Game Boy Advance experience. Play all of your old favorites on your Android, on the go and never run into an issue.
An App for the Fitness Nut
If you’re into running, jogging, walking or biking as a way of keeping fit than Runtastic Pro is probably the app for you. Despite the slightly cheesy name, it’s anything but. It tracks cardio workout progress such as time, distance, calories and other things to help reach your exercise goal whether that’s busting the four minute mile or ripping around the park on your bike in the shortest time possible. It includes so many features you’ll be hard pressed to use them all but that’s the beauty of it – you pick and choose what suits you and at £2.99 (€3.79) it’s a bit of a steal.
An App for the Movie Lover
Staying with the running themes this aptly named RunPee app, helps you identify the best time to run to the bathroom during a movie. Let’s face it, there’s nothing worse than slurping down a large soda, and having to run out half way through the movie and odds are you always end up missing the best bit…not anymore! All major films are included, and the app will tell you how long you’ve got to go, and what you’ll miss while you’re gone. For only $0.99 (€1.25) it also tells you if there are extra scenes at the end, so you don’t have to sit through the credits if there aren’t!
An app to keep you safe
With Android mobile devices becoming insanely popular, both smartphones and tablets, and Android also ranking as the number one operating system in the world, hackers are rubbing their hands with greedy glee. You can ensure that that is all they do with BullGuard Mobile Security and Antivirus. It keeps out all the things you don’t want in your device like various forms of malware hackers use to penetrate your device and also includes cool antitheft features that keep you and your data safe from prying eyes should your device be lost or stolen. It’s also got a raft of remote control features so you can wipe or lock your device from a distance. Unfortunately, you can’t do a James Bond and remotely detonate your device – yet.
