KNOWN ISSUES
For problems you may be encountering with your BullGuard, please consult this list of known issues that we are currently trying to solve solve permanently or provide answers, fixes or workarounds for.

ADVANCED INSTRUCTIONS
GENERAL
Issue 1. To delete BullGuard components which might not be removed by the uninstall wizard:
* Open the Command Prompt console (Start > Run > type cmd).
* Type the following commands and press OK in turn:
sc delete vfilt
sc delete adblock.dll
sc delete httpfilt.dll
sc delete htmlfilt.dll
sc delete protect.dll
* Open Windows’ Registry Editor, then locate and delete the following registry keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BullGuard HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BullGuard Ltd. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\BullGuard Ltd HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\bullguard.exe HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\BullGuard HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Session Manager\AppPatches\OUTPOST HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet003\Control\Session Manager\AppPatches\OUTPOST HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\AppPatches\OUTPOST
* Also, please browse to the following keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
and delete their "BullGuard" and "BGNewsAgent" values from the right-hand panel of the Registry Editor.
* Reboot your computer.
Note 1: It is recommended to perform these steps while in Windows Safe Mode.
Note 2: Some of these items may have been removed automatically by the uninstaller, so do not worry if you cannot find all of them.

Issue 2. To manually fix the problem that occurs when BullGuard’s console does not come up, despite its icon being present in the system tray:
* Open Windows Registry Editor and browse to the following location in the left hand panel:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\AuditInProgress
* Delete the “AuditInProgress” key and close the Registry Editor.
* Reboot your computer.
