BullGuard, specialists in user-friendly computer and mobile security solutions for consumers and small office users, are proud to announce that they are have been awarded the 2009 PC Retail ‘Sales Team: Home’ Award.
The award given in recognition of a company who demonstrated excellence in product knowledge, channel relationships and delivery of service to its channel partners, was awarded to BullGuard during an award ceremony which took place at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on Thursday March 19th where PC Retail magazine and the industry celebrated all those in the computing and IT channel.
A major contributing factor to BullGuard’s success and the PC Retail award win is its unique channel proposition which includes the sharing of online revenue with its partners. BullGuard were instigators in offering revenue share to its partners which is a 25% share of all online subscription renewals and backup upgrades tracked to its partner’s account and offers revenue share for the entire life of the license, not just the first year of renewals. BullGuard continues to offer the industry’s highest renewal commission percentage.
Recognition was also given to BullGuard’s transparent online revenue tracking system for resellers, a unique tool which gives customers greater access to the revenue share programme’s details to make it even easier to track sales, renewals and revenue accumulation.

In a strategic move to further enhance its channel offering, 1st April 2009 will see BullGuard launch its new and improved online partner portal, redesigned to be even more targeted to the channel, aimed at simplifying and facilitating the process of claiming revenue share payments. The new BullGuard Reseller Lounge will also act as a support centre providing both technical and sales support through online videos and live chat. It will work as an effective marketing vehicle both for partners who will be able to download online marketing material and place requests for POS and for BullGuard to have direct and regular communication with its customer base.
