BullGuard Login
To run properly, any BullGuard installation will request you to log in. You will need to provide the login details:
- When skipping the account registration process
- When reinstalling the application
- When making changes to the user account you are currently logged in to
- After an account renewal or password reset.
If the application is already installed on the computer, you can log in again directly from the application by clicking the Change User button in the Home section. If the application was installed for the first time, you will need to enter your BullGuard account details at the login screen before BullGuard runs.
The Change user button is found in the Your BullGuard account tab from the Home section. Here you will see the account you are currently logged in to and can change it by logging in again within the application.
Clicking on the Change user button will display the login window where the account details need to be used.
Login Window

No, I want to create a new BullGuard account (unavailable): Allows you to create a new BullGuard account. This option appears only when BullGuard is installed for the first time on the computer. If another version was previously installed on the computer, this option will be grayed out.
Yes, I already have a BullGuard account: Allows users who already have a BullGuard account to login with their current details skipping the account creation process. This option will be enabled by default if any BullGuard version was previously installed on the computer.
Using same BullGuard account on other computers
All BullGuard Spamfilter accounts can be used on up to three different computers at the same time.
Protect Settings with password: Allows BullGuard to restrict access to some areas and ask for the user account password confirmation whenever accessed:
- Home and Spamfilter section settings are password protected
- Turning off the BullGuard Spamfilter module will ask for password confirmation
- Initiating the Backup restore function will ask for password confirmation
- Closing BullGuard from the System Tray icon (right click and select Exit) will ask for password confirmation.
When you try to access one of the above sections, BullGuard will ask for the password once and within a specified period you will not be asked for the password again. When the “no password request” period expires, you will be prompted for your password again. Also, closing and restarting BullGuard will reset the password lock timer.
You can enable or disable this option when you first login/register an account or, afterwards, from the Home Status and Settings section.
Enter your e-mail: All BullGuard accounts are protected by a username and a password. Both when registering a new account and logging in with an already existing account, you will need to provide the username. The username must be a valid e-mail address to which all BullGuard related e-mails (including payment confirmations or password reset emails) will be sent.
Your password: You are required to supply a password both when creating an account and simply logging in. BullGuard offers the option to create a random password for you and will ensure that the password meets the standards needed for a strong password (such as numbers and capital letters). Note that you will need to remember the randomly generated password to be able to log in again if needed.
Forgotten password
If forgotten, the password can be reset at your request via an online password reset form at https://www.bullguard.com/password-recovery.aspx. The password reset procedure requires that the e-mail address you used as your username is valid, as you will receive the password reset confirmation and activation links via e-mail.
Login automatically: When enabled, automatic login allows BullGuard to use the account credentials (username and password) provided at the previous login. This will automatically log the previous used account. If this option is disabled, you will need to login each time BullGuard starts.
I use a proxy connection: This option enables users to configure the BullGuard login to use the existing proxy settings.
View privacy policy: Allows you to read about private data collection and processing policies and shows that BullGuard is compliant with today's standards in personal information management laws and agreements. Login: Will use the supplied account details when running BullGuard.
Cancel: Will cancel the login process. Cancelling the login process will keep the currently logged in account active. Note that if there is no account currently logged in, BullGuard will not run without being supplied with a valid username and password.
