I'm Beta testing the new Bullguard 5. Having installed the program and updated the latest IDEs with relative ease I was happy to find a user friendly interface, clear instruction and automated processes had me up and running in no time.
I proceeded to run the virus scan (knowing only to well my machine was infected from the various performance issues I'd been encountering) after checking my whole system Bullguard 5 notified me of the suspect files, again the simple to understand step by step process led me to quarentine and then delete these files, being a little on the paranoid side as I was just about to ftp some files to my site host I thought I'd just check one more time to see if my system was clear unfortunately it found the same files, this time in my system restore folder. I fixed it and then checked again, the same files were found in the same place again.
I could not get any more information from Bullguard when clicking the icon although on pressing the fix button it told me it had got rid of the virused files, is there more I need to do? or even is there more I can do?
