Since a few months ago I found a program called microsoft.exe running in my computer but I thought it is not harmful. Recently ( since yesterday). My computer starts to stuck with many problems. First, I am not capable of running programs like regedit, windows task manager, etc. Secondly some programs like hijackthis, AVG could not be run or close with just a "pop" of the program....

I think that it must be a virus (or more than one) in my computer.is it related to microsoft.exe (Gaobot virus)??? Could anyone suggest what possible it is and give me suggestion on how to remove this?

Fortunately, i was able to run taskmanager/ hijackthis after some renames and here is the log file from hijackthis. please help me: ( I am from Hong kong so some traditional chinese appears in the log file)

(in addition, i have currently comodo free, avg, and Ad-Aware SE Personal in my computer) I have run of of these scans but none of them could solve the problem...

Hello

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:

http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe

to your desktop.

Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.

At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.

If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.

Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.

When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.

Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location.

Please download Combofix:

http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe

And save to the desktop.

Close all other browser windows.

Please connect all your external hard drive/flash drive before running Combofix

Important-> Temporarily disable your anti-virus, real-time protection before performing a scan.

They can interfere with combofix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".

Go to Start->Run and copy/paste: ComboFix /snapshot and hit OK. It should run Combofix.

Please note, that once you start combofix you should not click anywhere on the combofix window

as it can cause the program to stall. In fact, when combofix is running, do not touch your computer

at all and just take a break as it may take a while for it to complete.

When finished, it will produce a logfile located at C:\combofix.txt.

Post the contents of that log in your next reply with a new hijackthis log, along with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware log.

Please copy and paste your log files. DO NOT add it as an attachment

NB. If you are using any P2P (file sharing) programs, please remove them before we clean your computer..

We do not clean logs that have P2P applications installed as this can cause reinfection during your cleaning.

Do NOT post your problem in someone elses thread.

When I am running the anti-malware program and scanning... an error occurs just when one infection is found

the error code is 731(0,6)

help plz

for further info. my IE6 also could not be run

Hi I understand ur problem.

dont worry, it very simple 2 remove virus on ur computer

do the following carefully:

1. download the RRT tool (it a free ware avilable in net otherwise use the link).

2. start ur computer in safe mode

3. after loading press ctrl+alt+del

4. click file -> new task -> browse ur rrt.exe (which u download) -> install it -> open

5. click check all button and remove all

6. now open ur 'regedit' on run, search 'Ahsan',and 'Bush'

7. delete all the entries in search result

8. Open cmd prompt type 'del csrss.exe /a/s/q' on each drive on ur computer

9. do the same of step 8 ,replace the file name 'home video.avi.exe', 'autorun', and 'system'

10. now ur free fromthe virus

11. rename my computer, my document and recycle bin
