you were'nt kidding when you said you tried everything! Well you tried almost everything. Uninstall all of your AV software especilly norton, download bullguard scan it should delete or at least move files for you to delete. once thats done do a disk clean (system tools) under the more options tab you find a button that says remove all restore points click it.
after that click ok then go into your control panel click performance and maitenence, click on basic info aboutyour computer, the click the restore tab, put a check in the box that says turn off system restore. viruses tend to write themselves in there so they can come back when you restart. good luck hope this helps and let me know.
Have you still got your bullguard logs? If you do send them to support@bullguard.com . they can help. also try some spyware remover like ad-aware 6 it works pretty good. good luck and let me know.
We are happy that you chose to use our security solution and that you are so interested in keeping your computer safe. As for what you ask me, the majority of the list includes files that could not be scaned because they were protected by passwords. The real culprits, trojans actually, are inside an archive, therefore not posing any threat to your system. BullGuard cannot operate inside an archive. Try to delete them manually.
how familiar are you with your regedit? becase that's where you'll have to go to get rid of this, also would not hurt to turn off system restore after a disk clean, when the options window comes up there's a more optoins tab to the right click it and tell it to remove all restore points, click ok for the rest of the options. then go into your control panel and shut down the restore and do a cold boot. try that and let me know.
here goes. go to start, run, type in regedit spelled exactly this way, upper or lower case don't matter. when the regedit pops up go to the edit key click on it, highlight find, click on it, when that window pops up type in the name of the virus and click ok. If the virus is in there that should find it, when they come up, delete it or them, then do a disk clean, shut off restore in the control panel. that should do you, if your not comfortable about the regedit have someone who is help you, it can be a daunting task. let me know and good luck.
No I did not see anything that needs deleteing unless you want to get rid of the kazaa. just what pops up that has the name of the virus in it. but you could send the logs and what you just showed me to support@bullguard.com and they might could help. Eagle
