The 'unfixable' infection was in my Thunderbird junk emails folder! Very easy for me to fix this manually, so why doesn't Bullguard at the 3rd fix level recognise it was in the junk emails box and then advise the easy fix? The easy fix is as follows, locate the folder and overwrite it with an erasing program. This advice, or even for the standard bullguard program to offer to do it itself with permission would save time. If the junk folder in Thunderbird gets erased, Thunderbird will automatically create a fresh junk folder when it needs to. Come on Bullguard, please let's have some more efficient treatment of email related infection! So easy for those who know how to to deal with this particular problem, but for others it is a bit of a time-waster.
