Hi guys smurf - maybe you can help me with this. I have v5, looks great etc, but causing some serious hangups with my laptop. For instance, if I try to open up a folder containing say, pictures and a .exe, cpu usage for bullguard shoots up to 99% and wont open folder for about 30-35 seconds. Also happens on cd's, and other users folders.

Not a huge prob in itself though a bit irritating, but there is an option for "real time scan" which can be switched off, however, does this mean that viruses in the "local settings-temp internet folder" wont be caught? I get lots of viruses in there from crack sites - virus protection is essential.

Just so you know, I have a VAIO with p4 extreme, 1gig of mem and 100gig hd. so no probs there. (xp pro sp2)

Thanks in advance for your oppinions etc.

Chris yeah

also - maybe other users with same probs could fill a poll- maybe this is something bullguard could fix if many of us have this prob? v4.5 was fine but i dont have a copy of it.
