Well I'm sorry to say that after upgrading to the lovely looking Bullguard 5.0 my pc started blue-screening, a problem I had rarely seen with xp.
I replaced my cpu cooler, uninstalled some programs, reinstalled Office about 5 times, bought pc repair software and was on the verge of re-installing windows.
I then realised that the crashes were always associated with a Bullguard scan and could 'order' a crash by running a Bullguard scan.
I un-installed Bullguard 5.0 and downloaded a free anti-virus proram off the net - the pc has NOT crashed since despite numerous scans with my new anti-virus program.
In order to help you in a professional manner, I will need you to provide some more details: Have you upgraded from version 4.5 to 5.0? If so, it was best if you have uninstalled the 4.5 version by following the >step by step guide here<.
Also, you say you received an error blue screen: the blue screen may have been logged automatically by Win Xp: # Use Windows Explorer to access the C:\Windows\LogFiles\Watchdog folder. # Locate and right-click the most recently dated .WDL file. # Select the Open command from the context menu. # In the Windows dialog box, choose the Select The Program From A List option and click OK. # When you see the Open With dialog box, select Notepad and click OK. Please send the logfile to my e-mail address: andreim@bullguard.com
Thank you for your cooperation.

Unfortunatelly Windows XP will not log the blue screen errors, if the Error Reporting feature has been turned off.
I apologize for the trouble that you have encountered in using BullGuard. Our team of developers is working at a new BullGuard build which will be available very soon and will solve most of the issues.
Thank you for your kind understanding.
