I had bullguard 5.0 and I have removed it to install Bullguard 6.0 Since then the bullguard folder opens on win xp startup. I dont' know how to stop that. I have checked the win.ini file and the startup folder but haven't found anything. I also have reinstalled Bullguard 6.0 . Any ideas ?

Yet another thing : Windows security center does not recognize Bullguard antivirus. It says Bullguard antivirus is off but when I check the bullguard screen, the antivirus is on. I have either to wait 5 min (the security center recognize bullguard antivirus is on after about 5 min), or turn off and on the bullguard antivirus.

Hi Folioz.

I might be able to help...

If you open bullguard and choose the "mainpage", then choose "options" (3 rd. option to your right). In that menu you can choose to activate/deactivate the Bullguard folder... try turning it off.. maybe this is the sollution to your problem...?
(My bullguard version is in Danish, so my translation af the bullguard options maybe isnt 100% correct...)

My version of Windows recognizes Bullguard 6.0 easily, but of your problem persist I dont see any problem in choosing to turn off the Windows surveillance of antivirus programmes... its easily done in the security center, but im sure you allready know that.
