On the SYstem Configuration Utility (BOOT.INI) I choosed the /SAFEBOOT option.
now my computer always start on SAFE MODE, but do not accept my Windows Password and could not log the system (it says my user id or password is wrong, but it is not).

Dear Stef,

Please start your computer and then press the F8 key after the BIOS is loaded and before the Windows logo appears. Then choose from the starting options list "Start Windows normally".

Once you have started in Windows normal mode, press the Start button-> Run-> type "msconfig" and press [Enter]. In the Windows Configuration Utility window, please go to the General tab and select all these options:

Selective startup
  • Process SYSTEM.INI file
  • Process WIN.INI file
  • Load System Services
  • Load Startup Items
  • Use Original BOOT.INI
Then please go to the BOOT.INI tab, and uncheck the /SAFEBOOT option. Restart your computer and let me know if it still starts in Safe Mode.

Also, to change your account password, please follow these steps:

1. Press the Start button-> Run-> type "control userpasswords" and press [Enter]
2. In the new window, please select your username and then press the Reset Password button.

Please let me knwo about the outcome of this procedure.
