I week ago I tried to use the Windows system restore to a previous date. This failed but everything on my computer duplicated including system and program files.  I have also noticed that my programs and files are growing at a rate of 3MB per hour even though nothing has been done on my computer.
 
My first thoughts was a Virus, but I have done extensive scans and found nothing, I have even downloaded Microsoft Windows checking software and still found nothing.
 
Has anyone come across this before, or does anyone know how I should deal with this worrying problem.
 
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
