I am running Windows server 2003sp1. recently i found that folder option from tools menu in Windows explorer is missing. at the same time folder option is also missing from Control Panel.
hi your pc is infected by the i worm w32.rontokbro@mm aka brontok. you must be seeing an internet explorer opening a bright green colored window the problem u have written is a symptom of this worm. my pc is suffering from the same.just read the folder.exe remover post in virus removal topic there a gal named ELLENA has given a solution for win xp but u might ask her the solution for ur os. and if u get any other solution than that please notify me. hope your pc gets well soon thanx
yes i have solution now. there is a software called anti BrontokbA from bitdefender. download it and run it. its a very small software (34kb) but works wonder. once you run it it will fix all the problems
