I keep getting the following message when I try & update bullguard & I've been getting it for the past 10 days or so which means my definitions are way out of date:

Important update - Restart computer?

An important update is now available for BullGuard. In order to implement this update, your computer must be restarted.

You should close open programs and restart your computer.

Do you want to restart your computer now?

Restart Now Later

I can't seem to get out of this loop. Anyone got any ideas?

Dear BullGuard User,

Please follow these steps in order to solve the problem:

1. Please uninstall BullGuard from your PC. Use the uninstall quick guides available at the following links, and go directly to Step3  of the guides that shows the steps for manually uninstalling:

http://www.bullguard.com/support/tip_uninstall5.aspx - for the 5.0 version of our software

2. After uninstalling, please don't forget to reboot your PC.

3. Download the BullGuard installer archive from this link, and make sure you download a Bullguard version that is compatible with your Windows version:

4. Install BullGuard again on your machine and restart the computer once again.

5. Make sure that when you will be asked to register you choose the 'I do not need to register. I am already a BullGuard user' option and then log in with your current username and password.

If you have purchased a CD package with our software, please make sure that you log in using the username and password that are written on the CD sleeve (the username is in the form of userXXXXX@bullguard.com and the password should be written right next to it).

If the problem persists do not hesitate to contact us again and we will advise accordingly.

Thank you for your cooperation.
