Hi, I got the same problem. You have to go onto the firewall window of bullguard and select advanced mode. Then go onto the security profiles and check what profiles is activated. I bet it's the custom security profile. Activate the low security and check your internet connection. If it's ok, then delete the custom security profile and create a new security profile. Activate it then. Chek your internet connection. Bullguard will ask you if you want to allow IE to access internet and say yes. It seems to me the 6.0 version of Bullguard has restrected access to internet to some needed programs.
There is no need to delete the entire Custom security profile and make a new one. Double click on it and in the Applications list find Internet Explorer and change from Block to Allow. After installing BullGuard the firewall displays messages on the screen asking what to do regarding certain programs which it does not recognizes as 100%secure. If there is no answer from the user (he is away from the computer), the firewal chooses 'block' by default, to ensure maximum security.
