hi ti all

i am new to bullguard, i am using the symantec antivirus, when i tried to update, it's giving the error message " liveupdate couldnot retrive the catalogfile of available symantec product and component updates. pls verify that you are able to connect to the internet", while internet is enabled..

looking for immediate solution

Go to the symantec website and download them manually... here is the URL:

Hi, how do you solve your problem ? by the symantec url or how ? I'm having the same problem with symantec corporate antivirus server. Thanks

Are u running both norton and bullguard at the same time? Or are just using bullguard (or just :gulp: norton?)

If u are using both STOP, pick one as you cannot run 2 antivirus programs at the same time with out errors.

If that doesnt solve the case uninstall norton and reinstall norton.

And of that doesnt help? Just come on over to bullguard ^^

No i'm just running norton corporate edition and norton system centre console. I've solved my problem, it is due to my proxy server. But after it updated in norton corporate edition, norton system console seems not show the latest virus definition date. Any idea?
