We are senior citizens and have been using Norton AntiVirus 2004 and Norton Firewall 2004 for several months. We did a Security Security download (LiveUpdate) a few weeks ago on one of our notebooks. After the download we did a full scan and then closed our computer. But just before closing a small box popped-up which was on screen for only a second or so. It said some about "pure virtual RC024" and then machine closed down.
Tonight we did another download on our other notebook and we received same pop-up when closing down the machine.
Would anyone know what is happening? This is the first time this happened and we are a bit concerned.

Hello AliceZ,

If I understand correctly your problem is actually caused by the Symantec product, therefore you may have more chances of solving this if you choose to contact >Symantec Support<, they may have the solution to your issue.

Thank you for your understanding.
