Now i have to carefull I have Bullguard as Avirus and firewall once, and i tested the firewall on the same site as you did, and change my firewall back to Zone Alarm! I suggest you PM Bullguard, and tell them your problemTouch
I have run the same test at grc.com and have passed it successfully with BullGuard only activated as a firewall.
Please open BullGuard [double click its tray icon and choose "Open"], click the orange "Firewall" section, change your User Level to "Advanced" then under the "Profiles" tab double click the "Custom Security" to enter its settings, and under the latest tab called "Security", place a checkmark next to the following items:
Detect port scans Stealth browsing Block Universal Plug n Play UPnP traffic Netbios protection Ignore unsolicited DNS Ignore unsolicited DHCP Ignore unsolicited WINS
then click OK, then Activate to enable these custom settings. Have you passed the test now?
----> One more thing: during the grc.com test, your BullGuard firewall will ask you if you would like to allow net access to the services that are using the tested ports. In order to pass the test, please press NO so that the firewall can block them. If you allow them, the firewall WILL allow the data to pass, and the test will fail.
Also, BullGuard remembers the custom settings that you setup when you click the Activate button. You may have forgotten to click Activate, so your settings were never saved before after restart. If this procedure does not manage to save your settings, please make sure that your BullGuard product is updated.
