I recommended my friend to BullGuard. He installed it, but it never asked him to register it. Why you ask? Well, apparently a month ago he had already used it and then uninstalled it because he found out he still had a month left on his Mcafee. So when he tried to install it again, it automatically went to his already expired account. It didn't let him re-register.
Is there any way he can register a new account without doing it through Bullguard, or possibly erase his previous BullGuard information?
Also my other friend I referred the service to signed up for the service, installed it, and used it. BullGuard sent me an e-mail saying that I had gotten the 30 days. So I went to update my status---But I didn't get my extra 30 days! Why?
sorry to hear about that. Please go to www.bullguard.com/feedback.aspx and write us a note, telling us the two usernames involved - we'll take a look at it :)Theis Søndergaard, CTO, Co-founder | BullGuard Ltd.
You should have gotten an e-mail from bullguard with a link to it...
It should give you an extra 30 days...
Oh and I already left feedback on this issue...Still awaiting a reply...
Same here eagle. I never knew, I've went from forum to forum telling people about Bullguard. I could have probably racked up a few years of BullGuard. Imagine--A two year BullGuard trial. ^_^
Here's the problem: It's unfixable. There is no way to fix the bug without causing distress to some users. Plus very few people would go through the trouble with it. It involves the reinstallation of THE ENTIRE Operating system EVERY TIME you abuse it. Unless I get some sort of benefit from telling BullGuard about this bug that, if someone had enough time, could give BullGuard the right to sue someone who abused the bug with fraud, I'm not going to do it. It makes no sense to make a big fuss about it. Very few people could figure it out.
