Bullguard has kindly deleted 12 viruses from my PC but I have 30+ of these I/O/ errors. What are they and what, if anything do I need to do withthem? PC works fine appart from loads of annoying pop up adverts (despite having pop up blocking prog) Thanks

Windows needs certain files to operate even under virus scanning conditions, I/O errors are errors that are picked up by Bullguard when a file cannot be scanned for this reason.  Perfectly normal.
