While trying to upgrade my Norton 2002, to 2005, it says I need to remove the old version before it will install the new. Well, I have tried removing it through windows control panel, which says it is gone, and through systemsuite, which says it is inaccesible except through windows control panel, which says it is gone.. what do I do???

Please help, if you can, pls send answer directly to my email... thank you sooooo much..

I remember that the 2003 version had a special norton uninstaller in the resources folder on the disc. I used it to install norton 2004. Hmm, maybe the 2002 version had one too...scratch head...

idea  I also remember It's actually just a registry thingy...if you delete all the registry entries that norton created, that'll work too, I think I used the app REGVAC for it. It's quite powerfull, so be carefull what you delete. burger

If the world didn't suck...we'd all fall off ;)
