Is this spyware?  Spyware Doc and none of my Norton's pick it up, but AOL's spyscan does, and has been blocking it.. I don't know if this is what's causing my pc not to boot up normally.. Here is my situation.. Can anyone help?

I had a startup issue before.. I wasn't able to boot up, I got a blue screen.. I am running Win XP Pro, SP1.. The screen mentioned:

***  STOP:  0x0000007E  (0xC0000005, 0x80576A39, 0xF7C7C204, 0xF7C7BF04)

I attempted a reboot, got a black screen saying windows was not shut down normally, and asked to reboot in a few different ways, one being normally.. I chose that, and got the blue screen again.. Tried another reboot, and chose safe mode this time, and again, got the blue screen.. I attempted again, and when I got the black screen, this time I chose last known working configuration, and that seemed to start things up just fine..

Any ideas what this error is?  And how can I fix it, if it needs fixing?  I have not since tried to shut down and restart.. The only thing I can think of was during shut down last night, I forgot my Spyware Doctor was doing it's nightly scan.. I don't know if that can be a cause or not.

Also, the other thing new I noticed.. Yesterday my AOL spyscan blocked a nuisance spyware called Command Services.. Then today, after getting back up and running, AOL spyware again blocked Command Services.. What is this, is it a spyware?  If so, why doesn't any of my other 4 spyware places catch it, only aol's, and if it isn't, could this be the cause of my issue starting up, this Command Services being blocked?  That's the only thing that seems to be different between yesterday and today's reboot..

I run all my programs and all come up clean.. Spyware Doctor and Norton's latest Internet Security and AV and AntiSpam..

I attempted another reboot, and same as above happens.. Please help me!
is this a simple fix or do I need help?  I only have this one PC.. I am also one who gets brought to tears when there is a pc issue.  It totally frazzles me beyond frazzled.

Regarding the AOL spyware issue concerning "blocked Command Services," it is beginning to look like AOL might have shot itself in the foot.  I've been reading lots of posts about this, beginning on about Monday of this week.  It is their Spyware Protection program that is giving the error message, but it looks like the Command Services reference may be related to its own software.  If you block it (or allow Spyware to block it as it does by default), then funky things may begin happening on your PC, including your INABILITY to run other malware checking programs or even running AOL itself.  Suggestion: Try unblocking the item OR try turning off AOL Spyware manually.  Then try running any malware, etc., checking programs you want to run.  OR try AOL again.  Also, see if your Blue Screen error goes away.  In other forums and other posts, no one has so far found this "Command Services" to be a real baddy.  Only AOL's Spyware says it is.  But just to give yourself some freedom to run programs or spyware checkers, try not blocking it.  Lots of people are encountering it, and it all seems related to AOL and Spyware.  It looks quite scary when you see the Blue Screen, which for me requires a button push to reboot.  Ctrl-Alt-Del doesn't reboot for me.  But it looks like a "false positive."

I have this same exact problem right now... every detail is exactly the same. Anxious to find a solution! I also cannot find a way to manually turn off the AOL Spyware.

FYI - I found some other threads on this topic and it does seem to be the AOL Spyware software. If you go into Add/Remove Programs, remove the AOL Spyware software and restart. I have not had any further problems since doing so.
