A week or so ago I had the most unpleasant experience of being on-line and having something begin to take over my machine.  I cancelled out as quickly as I could (it was faster) and shut down the machine and disconnected from the internet service cable.  I then ran spybot - nothing registered, ewido - nothing registered  so I went into safe mode and began to run sysclean and amazingly the machine was trying to reset things in safe mode.  I then changed all the passwords.  Ran ewido - found one spyware but nothing else.  My palm pilot erased the last month of entries and disabled hot sync and messed with Install shield to the p;oint where I have trouble loading software now and palm pilot is gone completely due to my trying to reload it.
So - here is my hi-jack this log and I will run Bullguard in the safe mode tonite and see what happens.
