Preparation

Antivirus scanning

A
n Anti-Virus product is a necessity If you already have an Anti-virus program - please be sure to check for updates, run a complete scan.

If you don´t have any Antivirus program ->
Avast makes an excellent free antivirus client: Avast
As does: Avira
Download, install and update the program you have chosen. Run a complete systemscan.
Be sure to only have one of these installed at any one time though - more than that and they will conflict with each other and actually reduce your system's security.

Download: Ccleaner: here: Here
Once installed, run CCleaner click the Windows tab
Select the following ->
Internet Explorer:
Temp Internet
History
Recently Typed URLs
Delete Index.dat files
System:
Empty Recycle Bin
Temporary Files
Memory Dumps
Chkdsk File Fragments

Next: click Options click the Settings tab
Uncheck: "Only delete files older than 48 hrs.", click Ok
Then click Run Cleaner (bottom right) then Exit

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware: Here
to your desktop.

Double-click Mbam–Setup file,  and follow the prompts to install the program.
At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location.

NB. If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.
If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

Please download DDS: Here

to your Desktop and doubleclick on DDs.scr to run it.
If your security software includes script blocking features, please disable these before you run this utility.
There are details for disabling many programmes: Here

When the scan has finished, two logs will open. Save them to desktop, we´ll need them later

Vulnerabilities in old Sun Java versions may be partly responsible for many infections.

It is very important not only to keep Sun Java up to date, but also to remove older versions which have security holes and can be exploited by malware.

In preparation first download the
latest version: Here

Required: You must accept the license agreement to download the product.
Uninstall ALL old versions of Sun Java via Add/Remove Programs in controlpanel.Click the Remove or Change/Remove button
Restart your PC once all Java components have been removed
Then install the downloaded java file

Click: Here
to download HJTinstall.exe
Save HJTinstall.exe to your desktop.
Double click on the HJTinstall.exe icon on your desktop.
By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Hijack This.
Click I accept
Click on the Do a system scan and save a log file button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log. Click Save to save the log file and then the log will open in notepad.
Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet.
Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

Uninstall File Sharing/P2P Programs

During the cleaning process all File Sharing Programs
should be uninstalled, if you hav any.
This is to avoid any possible reinfection of any malwares through file sharing.

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
Using the different programs you have now produced 4 log files - one from Malwarebytes, two from DDS and one from HijackThis. Please copy the contents of these 4 logs into your own topic:  Here

Post the following into your post, in order:
Hijackthis log
Malwarebyte log
DDs log files

The DDS logs will be reasonably large so you may have to divide them into sections and make several posts to post them.

One final word of advice/request... we are not able to see your computer so please don´t forget to tell us all you can about your computer problems, how it performs, what the problems are etc. Whatever you can tell  and describe will help us to help you....

Do NOT post your problem in someone elses thread.
