Hi - hope you can help with this:


After installing Bullguard Trial and checking the 'Status' - i noticed that the firewall was turned off. Attempting to turn it on produced the error code shown above.



Windows firewall is also turned off and I am unable to turn that on either. Could you assist ?

It is of course very important that you have a firewall working on your computer.

I suggest that you contact BullGuard Technical Support via their Live Chat facility.

They may need to have a look at your computer to see what is going on.

Hi there,

Please follow the steps below:

A. Take ownership of the folders mentioned below as shown here.

BullGuard Ltd. from Program Files
%allusersprofile%\BullGuard


B. Make sure that all users (Everyone, or add each user manually) have full read/write permissions on all subfolders and files.


C. Save FirewallFix on your desktop and unzip it. Copy both tools in BullGuard's installation folder.
Run the 1.Cleanup tool and restart your machine/
Run the 2.FW_Install tool and reboot again.

Your Firewall will be active after the last restart.
