Pop Up Error: 0x2 Step 5

Hi all,
since some time (BG update 13.0.261.9 ?) the error msg "e-mail scanner could not start error 0x2 step 5" comes up. WIN Vista Home Premium with latest updates 32 bit, IE8 Vers 8.0.6001....

new install after uninstall all (several times) does not solve the problem. No other virus-scanner, firewall etc. only tune up utilities but only manual start.
Can anyone help?

Hello!

Step 5 always means that there is a problem with the permissions (windows error 5 Access is denied).

Contact support on Live Chat and as to be assisted remotely. One of my colleagues will connect and sort the issue for you directly (we need to repair the permissions and check for the culprit that changed them).

Make sure to tell them "No other virus-scanner, firewall etc. only tune up utilities but only manual start." and that I sent you there from the forum.
