Trojan.Generic.9520848 and multiple Trojan.Generic detected with network usage

Dear Bullguard,

I was browsing normally today and logged into our university Intranet and attempted to load a word document when Bullguard detected a Trojan.Generic variant. Ever since, whenever there is network usage Bullguard has detected Trojan.Generic.[number]. It states that it is quarantined, and the logs say everything is coming from C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Desktop\Install\

I've used Bullguard for years protecting this computer and its always been pretty good at sorting Trojans, but this one seems persistent.

Please advise on further action.

UPDATE: I've had a look at restore points to see if any major updates were recently enacted and this seems to coincide with a Java(TM) 7 Update 4 and JavaFX 2. 1.0. However, I do not remember initializing an update. I have not done a system restore yet pending advice from you.

The best way to handle this is for you to run a full scan in Safe Mode, copy the log to the desktop, then contact us us via Live Chat:
