Hey guys wanted to point out that during the counter-strike profile, when it is activated it cuts-off all the other internet access to other programs which I understand, however it also cuts off the access to steam friends. The way to fix this is in the counter-strike profile settings just edit the firewall to allow steam, but I just wanted to point this out because in a final release, it would be easier if this aspect was already initialized. Yes, I noticed this as well. It also prevents Steam from authenticating the session with a lot of servers which meant I kept being disconnected today. It also took me a while to figure out that was the reason Firefox was not working either when I Alt+Tabbed out of the game.
Just a bit of a question on this issue. When you choose a profile and edit it and then go on to choose the general settings, in the filename list there is an option to add a filter. Could this be used to add Steam to the proflie? I have this issue with a few of our games and ws just wondering if it is an esy way to fix the problem?
