I actually only gave you 1 month, that’s how long we're planning this test should last. But hey, if it takes longer, you'll just get more :)
When that said, I'd like to remind you that we offer a full version to those of you that submit bugs and posted good opinions. A full version is 1 year subscription. Being a good tester is not about finding bugs that no one else could find. Good testing is when you document your work, so it’s easy for us to reproduce and fix the problem. Of course if more testers submit the same bugs, they all get credit for it.
Last time, we gave everyone who submitted bugs or opinions, 2 months after the test was completed. This time differs from our goal of the BETA phase. Where it last time was more “get the bugs”, we’re trying to make the “right” Gamer Security software.
Back when I played Q3 (when I have no kids, hence my WAF was higher, WAF = Wife Acceptant Factor) AV was a nice-to-have, nowadays is a must-have, playing (being online) without security is consider dangerous. We guess most gamers just shut down the protection when gamming to get the highest performance, heck I’d have. But modern gamers are beginning to realize it’s not without risks.
Our standard product and the settings to it, offers full protection to any given scenario/ threat. When gamming it’s a balance between speed and being safe, and not having to worry about some alien thing probing your “precious” in the backdoor J
