Antivirus 2008 is a new corrupt anti-spyware program, which infects the system by using trojans, such as Zlob or Vundo, and uses popups and fake system notifications to intimidate the user about him having an infection on the system. The infection is most commonly non-existent, but this disinformation is meant to mislead the user so that hopefully he would be the fake "licensed version" of the program.
