i need some help in removing a csrss virus that my computer has come infected with.
yesterday i was able to find the virus on my computer and i thought i had got rid of it but this morning it seens to of come back.
the virus is causing my computer to run slow and cause the computer to lock up for about 3 seconds at a time switch the screen on and off and then after about 4 min reboot the computer
iv looked at previous csrss problems on this forum but im not sure what to do with hijack this.
i have tried using other software like c-cleaner, spybot, hijack this but im not able to do anything because i only have a limited knowledge of these programs

i found the virus under the name csrss12181800 and in safe mode renamed it, after rebooting my AVG anti virus software detected it and removed it but the virus is back again and im not sure now what to do??

im having to use a seperate computer because my infected one doesnt really last long enough for me to use properly
any suggestions at all??

Hello smile

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:

Or here:

 to your desktop.

Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.

At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.

If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.

Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.

When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.

Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location.

Copy and Paste that log into your next reply, along with hijackthis log.

NB: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts. Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.
