Hello,
Need some help with a problem on my Optiplex 210L 2.8ghz running XP Pro.
Something has hijacked IE and Outlook express. Here are the symptoms: Only affects ebay & Paypal and disabeles my "delete" key. When I try to login to ebay and PP I get a message saying there has been unauthorized use and asks me to fill in all sorts of info which I do not. All other websites requiring password and ID work fine. Delete key will not work with any windows programs, Word, Works etc but will work with video and audio software, changed keybord, problem still exists. I can access ebay & PP by using Firefox with no problem. I have done the following, installed Norton & Regcure, problem still exists, Norton took over an hour to load!! Computer seems to run fine di!!!!e the problem, other than the loading time with norton install, I havent noticed any loss of speed. Here are a few other things I have noticed. Changed the password on ebay & PP via firefox and was able to login once thru IE, next time problem came back. I have tried trial versions of adware, registry fix, 1 check pc and they all found a ton of "problems" that were no fixed bu norton and Regcure. Don't know what to do at this point other than taking it in to be looked at or re-installing XP neither of which I want to do. Perhaps some knowledgable person or persons can help me.
One other thing I ran HIJACK THIS and have attached the log , any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Rich Harkoff
