Hello all!  We just received our new computer yesterday and there is an error message that keeps popping up during start-up.  It says:

Error in C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\drivers\W32x86\3\DLCCtime.dll

Missing entry: RunDLLEntry

Does anyone know what this is and more importantly...how to fix it???

Been fighting this same problem for days now.  Has to do with an incompatibility between the Dell 964 printer driver and Dell computers.  Not sure why Dell doesn't check how well their own printers function with their own computers, but that's another story ...
Anyway, the answer you seek is here:
In case the link doesn't work, here's a reprint:
Open regedit and search for dlcjtime.dll.
Find a value named DLCJCATS in \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\...\CurrentVersion\Run\.
Make a safety Backup of the selected registry folder.
Delete value named DLCJCATS!
You can find your registry by hitting "Start" going to "Run" and typing "regedit" and hitting ok.  From there you go to toolbar "edit" and arrow down to "find".  Type in dlcjtime.dll and find it.  It will be in a part of the registry of the big file you have read. To back it up, right-click on the folder, choose "Export", save as i.e. "my backup.reg"..  Then delete the value in DLCJcats.

This may only be a temporary solution (i.e, the problem has been known to return after using the printer).  If so, you may want to follow this additional advice:
Find an application on the net called "Startup Inspector" (you can google it).  It's free (although I will send a donation to his cause at the site) and it works!  Using that application you can prevent DLCJcats from startup and not have to worry about it after you print.  I highly recommend it for controlling "bloatware" startup as well.  I hope this helps....good luck.

And finally, you can also try this:
I have loaded the latest Creative Labs sound card drivers from the Dell download site and it appears to have eradicated the DLCJ.Cats error message.

All this comes from the Dell Forum web site referenced above.  I loaded the latest Creative Labs sound card drivers on my new Dell, but that alone didn't solve the "Missing entry: RunDLLEntry" problem.  So I also deleted "DLCJcats" from my registry and that seems to have taken care of the problem (so far, anyway).  I have yet to try "Startup Inspector".

I wish you all the luck in the world, because this problem has been driving me crazy for the past few days.
f.k.

Very simple. You need to update the driver for your printer. I had the exact same issue. I just simply re-ran the installation disc. If you don't have the installation disc go to www.Dell.com\Support. Try this direct link to the Dell 964 All-in-one DOWNLOAD DRIVER HERE
