I have Fully patched Windows XP,Norton Antivirus 2003 - fully updated and running, firewall 2x (hardware and software) and clean computer of viruses and spy bot and trojans ... I scaned with 3 diffrent programs more then twice!!! But!!!!

As soon i switch any of browser (opera or IE6) or any of mail program - bum!!!

I got msg u have virus in the temp file file was deleted - and then with frequency of 1-2 min i have another tem file .. and again .. again ......

Virus name is Netsky.Q- how the hell he is activating him self as sson i 'm using connection. Description says it is activating by mail........

Is he sitting in my comp or monitoring connecton (IP) or ... else?

How to stop it? As u can imagine it is preatty innoing to keep closing MSG box every 1-2 minutes :(

PLZ any help will be welcome

I did run skynet removal tool - nothing was found :(

Download all of windows updates

BTW, i dont use internet explorer, ive had enough of its lack of security

also you might want to turn off your, sys restore if your running XP, viruses tend to write themeselves in there. also disable your av then download bullguard and scan it may move or delete the infected files for you. as far as browser goes try netscape it runs on mozilla or firebird.

Hmmm i have all available patches and sys restore off (this was first what i did after windows installation)
I will try bullguard - I hope i can use same time 2 antivirus programs? since my subsription for Norton will expire 2 month from now :(
Any other ideas where is sitting this bastard? I notice when i recive 20 mail i have 20 temp files deleted by Anti virus soft...... strange

You just think you got trouble you go to running the puppy with norton.Bullguard and norton do not get along best you UNINSTALL norton lest bullgard does it for you, (it looks at Norton like it's the virus) you get 60 days free daily updates and (paid ) you get a year of updates (daily) firewall and backup space $39.99 A year not bad huh? and it's mean stuff, tech supports great! tough to beat.

I just did last night ...... I will see results of this changes :)
Let me check for fiew days
At least i run Bull and launch MS Outlook - 20 mail deleted coz of virus out of 30!!!!!!!!!
Damm i'm bit shocked :)_

did you say you got 20 out of 30 emails deleted due to virus? What in the devil are you getting? freaked

Most of the e-mail are with subject delivery error or failure or ... delivery report ... etc.
From ppl i do not even know and definetly i did not send e-mail to them :)
All of them contain 1 the same virus Netsky.Q ...... time to change e-mail adres ... look like :!

I would say it's beyond time to change your email! glad you got ris of it there's a removal tool on bullguards website.
