A few months ago I somehow downloaded a trjoan horse and malware. The Trojan changed my computer's date. I opened up task manager and saw run.dl running three times and these weird files. I kept ending them in task manager and ran Norton virus scan. Norton found them and removed them. They were set to start up in my computer when the computer did.
Is it possible this Trojan stole personal photos and files? From what I can tell this Trojan did not get any bank or credit card information since I think they would have used it by now. I have no idea how long the Trojan was on my computer for. Are certain Trojans designed to steal personal photos? I am worried because I had some compromising photos of myself on my computer and it appears this Trojan could have taken them without my knowledge before it changed the date.
Do you think it is possible this trojan stole my personal photos? What is the likelyhood it did?
omg! someone got my debit card number adn charged some crap to it. I kept wandering how in the heck anyone could get that.. i figured from online.. but i was always very careful to go to reputable places to purchase items.. but now that you said that about a trojan getting accuont numbers and stuff.. i can bet you that's how these ppl got mine!!! becuase I had like 4 trojan infections on my computer!!! how can i stop that from happening in the future? Like can i turn off auto complete?? and if so how can i do that??
