I have been running Norton and PC-Cillin, and both have failed me. PC-Cillin has a window that continually tells me I have a trojen in:
windows\system32\mlkjkhf.dll.
I went in Safe Mode, but it wouldn't delete. I also noticed that the file isn't even highlighted to enable me to delete it in the first place. Meanwhile, I keep getting a window that shows up randomly (at least 4 times an hour) asking me if I want to ignore or cancel the following:
16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem c:\windows\temp\win89~exe c:\windows\temp\win88c~exe c:\windows\temp\win8A9~exe c:\windows\temp\win8FC~exe c:\windows\temp\winDCT~exe
The above exe files, come up one at a time, but take turns.
I went to your forum looking for an answer to my problems, and downloaded Lavasoft Ad-aware, Spybot S & D, and finally, HIJACKTHIS. Since I went to HIJACKTHIS, first, I became extremely confused, and read what each file meant. This only confused me further. Frankly, if I deleted every file under HIJACKTHIS, it wouldn't mess up my computer anymore than it is. As of right now, I have not selected any of the files on HIJACKTHIS but have included it in this email, so perhaps you can point me in the correct direction. Otherwise, I am tempted to take said laptop, and chunk it out a 12 story building. I know it will fix my problem, but a little extreme.
Another problem has been added. I can't save anything on HIJACKTHIS. I just tried and even though I click on "save this file" it won't show up anywhere on my computer. I looked under the file name and it wasn't there.

Please post your Hijackthis log here in your thread and we'll give you instructions on what to do, what entries to fix, and guide you how to get rid of the trojan.
