HELP: i have a virus that i belive i got from clicking on a link in aol instant messenger. it changes my away message, opens my internet explorer to a page that sends out the virus. it has also made my av (bullguard) useless bcz after it starts up it wont scan my comp or catch any new viruses, and when i try to restart or reinstall it, it says there is an unknown error

 I've seen this before on one of the other forums, can't remember where but that person sent email to support@bullguard.com and got help. If you can Find Petria on the forums do so that one can help. good luck and let me know how it goes OK.
