Yes, on Vista. I have now done this. Seems to be working OK at the moment. Many thanks for your help and kind attention :) Appreciate it.

Yes, still running well. I uninstalled Comodo Firewall, and have been advised to also remove Windows Defender too. I had not realised it could cause a conflict with v8. Thanks
