London, 11th May 2011 – FRAGMASTERS TOXIC have been crowned the winners of the CS:S tournament at i42. Storming to victory, the BullGuard sponsored LAN gaming team have now taken the title for two consecutive events, after an equally spectacular win at i41 last year. The defence of TOXIC’s insomnia series title underlines the teams position as the UK's number 1 CS:S team and establishes them as a force to be reckoned with at future European events.
The team made it to the upper bracket final of i42 without scoring a single defeat and as such were the definite favourites going into it. The final was a cat and mouse chase with Epsilon, FRAGMASTERS TOXIC’s rivals, which put up a strong fight, even taking a commanding lead in the first 4 rounds, but TOXIC shut them down before they could get going properly and went on to claim the victory.
