BULLGUARD MOBILE VIRUS ISSUES
Am I 100% safe against viruses with BullGuard Mobile?
No. While 100% security is our goal, no one is ever 100% safe from viruses with any antivirus product. Unfortunately, people continue to create new viruses that are very sophisticated and often hard to destroy.
The good news is that BullGuard Mobile is a proactive security product - meaning, we catch viruses and spyware before they hit your device. We constantly research and update our system with the most current information and virus definitions to provide the best security possible.
With BullGuard Mobile you're as close to 100% safe as you will ever be.
How can I protect my mobile device more effectively against viruses?
There is no "magic recipe" for protecting a mobile device against viruses. However, here are a few simple measures you can take to reduce the risk:
1. Use an antivirus program, keep it open and updated.
2. Avoid opening attachments or emails that come unsolicited or from unknown or suspicious email addresses, especially attachments that contain executable files.
3. Regularly scan your device with an efficient antivirus product.
Why can't BullGuard Mobile disinfect or delete a virus found on my system?
Sometimes BullGuard will not be able to automatically remove a virus it has found. This will happen if the virus resides in a file formats which is already in use on your device.

What is the File Monitor?
The File Monitor is a crucial component of BullGuard that actively monitors all files and processes that are running or in use on your mobile device.
For example, if you unknowingly try to open, copy or access an infected file, BullGuard will instantly block the virus and notify you.
This type of protection is complemented by the OnDemand scanning engine, which allows you to run a full or custom scan of your machine. Learn more about scanning here: How to scan with BullGuard Mobile
Can I install and use BullGuard Mobile on a device that is already infected?
Yes, of course. If you know your device is affected by viruses, we recommend you close all running programs and run a full scan of your mobile device with BullGuard, to make sure it will find and remove all resident threats.
