    How do I scan my computer?

     

    You can easily scan your computer by opening BullGuard from the Start menu > All Programs > BullGuard. Afterwards, click on the SCAN button from the main BullGuard interface. Then, select FULL SCAN and the Antivirus scan will start, along with PC TuneUP and Vulnerabilities scans.

    You can also start the Antivirus only scan, by going to the DASHBOARD section > Antivirus > Full Scan.

    How do I schedule a scan?

    If you wish to schedule a scan, open the BullGuard interface from the Start menu > All Programs > BullGuard, then go to DASHBOARD > Antivirus > Custom Scan, select the desired profile (or even create a new one as shown here) and click on Schedule Profile. Set the profile to run when it is most convenient for you and click on OK.

    BullGuard blocked an infection, what do I do now?

    BullGuard will block most unwanted files before getting the chance to harm your computer. However, in order to make sure everything is in order, we recommend you to run a full computer scan with BullGuard in Safe Mode.

    In order to restart your PC in Safe Mode please follow the instructions from this guide.

    Once in Safe Mode, open BullGuard from the Start menu > All Programs > BullGuard. Afterwards select DASHBOARD > Antivirus and click on Full Scan. At the end of the scan make sure to click on Fix until all issues are resolved on only then restart in Normal Mode.
