Scanning your device for viruses with BullGuard Mobile
One of the main objectives for BullGuard Mobile Antivirus is to keep your device safe from viruses.
This is first and foremost done by keeping new malware out of your device, by scanning any new files downloaded
or copied onto it.
However, there is a great risk that viruses have already penetrated your system, prior to your installing BullGuard Mobile. This is why it's a very good idea to scan your device for resident threats after you've installed the program. And it's definitely also a good idea to make it your routine to frequently scan your mobile device.

Scanning with BullGuard Mobile Antivirus
First of all, open BullGuard Mobile and go to Menu > Antivirus.

This is where you will find the antivirus options. You can choose what to do with the infected files found by BullGuard: detele them, quarantine them, or do nothing.

Tapping the Scan Now button will start a full antivirus scan of the device. At the end of the scan you will be presented with the relevant scan information. Hopefully, you will be told that BullGuard found no problems.
You can see more details by tapping the Details option. A new window provide new options: the option to save the scan log in a specific location on your device and the option to view the scan log.

The log contains all relevant information regarding the antivirus scan. To see all information, scroll down.

To go to the main screen, go to Menu and choose Main. To see the status of the file Monitor, go to Menu and choose Monitor.

This screen shows if the file Monitor is enabled or disabled. In the screen below, it is enabled (HIGHLY recommended). You will also be able to set options for the file Monitor, such as what to do when an infected object is found and what type of files to scan. This is also where you can see the Monitor's log, by tapping the View Log option.

We hope that the log will look like the one below :)

This simply means that you did not use any infected files. Congratulations!
BullGuard also provides the option to perform custom scans. First, tap Custom Scan on the main screen.

Next, choose the files and folders you want to scan.

Select a folder and tap the OK button. BullGuard will start scanning the selected folder, then provide you with the scan results.
