The Parental Control module
The Parental Control plug-in works in conjunction with a web-based account management console where you can set up and monitor specific actions on the mobile device. Its main purpose is to prevent children from being exposed to inappropriate communication, websites, pornography and vulgar or indecent online content. With the help of BullGuard Mobile Security Manager, parents can create filters and customize rules and actions to prevent such exposure.
SMS: shows the SMS monitor status.
Voice: shows whether BullGuard will log the incoming or outgoing voice calls.
E-mail: shows whether BullGuard will log the e-mail communication to and from the device.
Picture: shows whether BullGuard logs the images accessed through the device.
Log File Size: shows the maximum log size before the logs is posted.
Event Counts: you can set a “lowest amount” on the number of events you wish the phone to register and compile, before it reports the data to the online dashboard. This way, you avoid that the phone roams for internet connections every single time an
event has occurred – i.e. a phone call/text message, etc. has been received or sent.
Last Posted Date: shows the last date when the log file was posted.
