Once the password has been changed successfully, you will need to update it within the BullGuard Mobile application installed on your device. For security reasons, we do not store the password itself locally. Before you can use the new one, you have to change the registration details in the application.
The password update process is simple and only requires you to log in to the application with your account details:
At the main screen, press the Menu button on your device and select the Settings option:
In the Settings menu you can either update/extend the account by using a new licence key or update the password on the device.
All other details except the password are prefilled.
Enter the new password and return to the main BullGuard screen. Note: to return to the main screen, do not press the Back key on the device, but press the Menu button and choose Close.
The application will automatically connect to the server and update your account details on the device. If it doesn’t, at the main screen, press Menu again and choose Update to have BullGuard connect to the server and validate the new password. Note that you will need an active Internet connection to log in.
