Once the password has been changed successfully, you will need to update it within the BullGuard Mobile application installed on your device. For security reasons, we do not store the password itself locally. Before you can use the new one, you have to change the registration details in the application.
The password update process is simple and only requires you to log in to the application with your account details:
Open the BullGuard Mobile Security application on your device.
At the main screen, select the Options menu and then open the Account Info item.
Once in the Account Info section, select the Options menu again and choose the Update Registration option.
At the Update Registration screen, enter your account details and the new password.
Licence Key: insert the licence key you used when you originally registered your Mobile Security account.
E-mail Account: enter the e-mail address you used when registering your Mobile Security account.
Password: enter the new password for your account.
Phone number: enter your device's phone number.
Once you finished all the required information, press or tap the Options again and choose Register. Please be patient while the application to connect to our servers and validates your new password. Note that you will need an active Internet connection to log in.
Once the process completes, you will be notified.
Congratulations, you have successfully updated the Mobile Security account details on your smartphone.
