• The importance of two-factor authentication

    Two-factor authentication is an important tool to keep your online accounts safe. It’s a jargony term but the process is actually very simple to set up and use. In a sense it’s a double lock. For instance with an email or social media account the first lock is your password and the second lock is the two-factor authentication code you set up. Most online services and email providers offer two-factor authentication whether it’s Amazon, eBay, Groupon, Ikea, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Snapchat, Google and Instagram.
