BullGuard Passes Virus Bulletin 100 Test for Vista 64-bit

Copenhagen, 2 August 2007

BullGuard, specialists in user-friendly PC & Mobile security solutions, submitted its BullGuard Internet Security product for the prestigious Virus Bulletin 100 test for the second time and again passed with flying colours. With BullGuard passing the Virus Bulletin XP test back in June, this time the test platform was Vista 64-bit.

Products can only pass the test if they detect all active viruses at the time of testing, so-called in-the-wild viruses. Additionally, the product may not generate any false positives when scanning a set of clean files. False positives are cases when a file is identified as malware, but it is in fact harmless.

“Another success for the BullGuard products” said Theis Søndergaard, co-founder and CTO at BullGuard, “I hope we can keep our 100% score going forever. I am especially happy with this result as the Vista 64-bit platform is the one that required most development from our side. This is a nice reward for the hard work my team put into this project”.
